No Filter Needed- How to Undo the Blemishes

Now who likes blemishes on the face! Get to know how to get rid of blemishes and free yourself from this beauty woe with some effective ways we have gathered.

Two major causes of blemishes are stress and oil clogged pores. They are also caused by sun exposure, aging, poor diet, improper skin care, genetics and hormonal imbalance. Keeping your pores clean will help you prevent blemishes. Teenagers mostly become victims of acne and skin blemishes at some point in their lives.

Skin blemishes not only look unpleasant but also lower your confidence and for some they can simply be a nuisance. Blemishes are skin imperfections in the form of dark spots, pigmentation marks, and acne marks.

Blackheads, age spots, whiteheads, uneven skin tone and even birth marks come under blemishes. Except for birthmarks, all of these can be prevented. If you are unsuccessful at keeping them at bay and end up with marks on your face, then you can go for remedies to get rid of blemishes.

Treatment depends on the kind of blemish but there are common ways that you can use to eliminate all kinds of blemishes. If not entirely remove the mark, they will at least lighten the marks and make it less noticeable.

Here are ten effective natural ways to get rid of blemishes.

Lemon is the first thing to pop up in your head when it comes to thinking about a natural bleaching agent. It has the ability to lighten your skin tone and reduce the appearance of blemishes or dark spots. The high content of citric acid helps to exfoliate the skin, get rid of excess oil and kill bacteria. This, in turn, will not only remove skin blemishes but also stop acne.

  • Combine one teaspoon of tomato juice, one tablespoon of honey and half teaspoon of lemon juice.
  • Mix well and apply this mixture on the affected areas.
  • Let it stay for ten minutes before washing it off.
