1. Lemon Juice

It has the ability to lighten your skin tone and reduce the appearance of blemishes or dark spots. The high content of citric acid helps to exfoliate the skin, get rid of excess oil and kill bacteria. This, in turn, will not only remove skin blemishes but also stop acne.

  • Combine one teaspoon of tomato juice, one tablespoon of honey and half teaspoon of lemon juice.
  • Mix well and apply this mixture on the affected areas.
  • Let it stay for ten minutes before washing it off.
  • Repeat thrice a week for at least a month to get positive results.

OR

  • Cut a fresh lemon and squeeze to extract the juice.
  • Apply it on your face or other affected areas using a cotton pad.
  • Let it stay for 15 minutes.
  • Wash it off with cool water.

In case the undiluted lemon doesn’t suit your skin, don’t use lemon directly. You can lose its concentration by adding some water and honey before applying.

  • Take 1/4th cup of papaya cubes and mash it.
  • Either add cream or yoghurt in it.
  • Mix half teaspoon of honey and few drops of lemon juice. In case you add fresh cream, you don’t need to add lemon juice.

  • Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash it off.

  • Mix one teaspoon turmeric powder, one teaspoon sandalwood powder, pinch of camphor.
